These types of exercise are fine as long as you follow a routine that progressively pushes you harder each week instead of doing the same thing every time. Having a personal trainer will not only help you create a personalized workout routine but would help you to push yourself further than you would be able to on your own. The best form of exercise I have found is called high intensity interval training (HIIT). It involves repeated bouts of high intensity effort alternating with recovery period.</image:caption>

I wanted a trainer who would help me with both my physical fitness and nutrition. I knew I was not going to push myself enough to make the necessary changes, so I was willing to make the financial investment in my current and future self. I, like most men when we age, had lost some muscle, added a few extra pounds, and lived a sedentary lifestyle. My energy levels were low and I was experiencing a lot of body aches and pains. There is no quick fix to these issues, so we charted out a course of action. Over the past two years, I can honestly say the aches and pains have gone away. My energy level is up. My strength and range of motion has improved dramatically. I have been working out with Ken for 2 years now. I have always gotten my money’s worth from the trainings. While he works me out hard, we still have a good time together. He has become as much of a friend as a trainer. I am significantly stronger and more flexible than when I started.
